WHITETAIL DEER

ALBERTA WHITETAIL DEER

If you're looking for a true northern whitetail hunt-the kind where big, mature bucks slip through the timber like ghosts-this is it. Our hunts take place in the Peace Country near Fairview, Alberta, right out of our house on a quarter section that backs onto the famous Peace River. Thick river breaks, timber, brush, and farmland create the perfect habitat for big-bodied, dark-antlered bucks.

This is not an easy hunt. Northern whitetails rarely make mistakes, and if you're not the type to sit through snow, wind, or cold, this hunt isn't for you. The hunters who stick it out, stay still, and grind are the ones who get a chance at these old bucks. If you prefer a comfortable, move-every-hour hunt, Alberta whitetails will humble you fast.

Norman and Kristina Peters run these hunts for Wingmaster Outfitting, and their dedication shows.

Norman knows exactly where bucks travel during the rut, spending countless hours scouting, hanging stands, and tracking deer patterns so you're in prime position before you climb into a stand. Kristina ensures everything back at the house runs smoothly-meals, lodging, and keeping hunters comfortable after long, cold sits.

You'll hunt funnels, pinch points, field edges, and travel cuts where big bucks move during daylight.

Patience and discipline are rewarded here. We keep availability limited to maintain quality and ensure every hunter gets the experience they came for.

If you've got the patience, grit, and drive to put in the time, this hunt can pay off in a big way. Book early-these northern giants don't wait for anyone.
