In 2024 we purchased a small mule deer operation in the heart of the peace country. Our unit covers approx 4440 square miles with some of the best mule deer habitat any hunter could ask for. The abundance of grain fields  and bush country provide the deer with the best nutrition and cover for excellent antler growth. Resident pressure is low on mule deer as Alberta residents must draw a license for this unit. Most of our hunting is done by pickup truck, glassing fields then stalking in for the shot.  Every hunter should expect to get an opportunity at a mature 170"+ class mule deer on their hunt. This unit produces a hand full of 200" bucks every year but we wouldn't recommend passing on a 180" deer.  Archery hunts run August 25th-Sept 15th. November rut hunts run Nov 1st-30th.Hunts are 6 full days with the option of extended hunting days upon request. With only 6 tags available to us spots are extremely limited.
